Getting to the Bottom of ItBullying Prevention through Empathy and Kindness
International Bullying Prevention Conference • November 6-8, 2016 • Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, Louisiana, USA
Those working with youth around the world gather at the International Bullying Prevention Association Annual Conference. This is the conference for dialogue, learning, and exploration of topics critical to schools, agencies, and individuals dedicated to bullying prevention. Conference workshops and TED-inspired sessions include practical, hands-on solutions and theoretical, research-based presentations.
A focus of this year’s conference will include the importance of adult-youth partnerships, which are critical to our collective efforts, with different student led sessions offered throughout the conference. The Board of IBPA is thrilled to have outstanding keynotes presented by Dr. Michele Borba and Dr. Sameer Hinduja. These national presenters and published authors will inspire you to continue with the great work you are doing.
There are a range of options for participation before, during and after the conference. Join the mailing list or register for the conference to receive regular updates about the conference in the months prior. Follow conference posts with #IBPA16 @IBPAworld on Twitter and like the International Bullying Prevention Association Facebook page. During the conference there are workshops, TED Talk inspired workshops and plenty of time for discussion and social events that offer networking opportunities.
